Isa (Isaven) is the child of a Gur cook in a small village at the edge of the woods in Mettledale and a Sun Elf who strayed from her race for the human man who charmed her. Isa was born in the forest, then given to her father to raise. Isa's father runs a small public house in his village, where he, his half Halfling wife and their 3 small children live. Isa's mother lives with her Moon Elf mate in the Forest of Lethyr.
Isa spent much of her childhood leaving her father's village for the forest, to learn in secret from her Elven uncle. Although she will never be accepted by the Elves, she learns as much as she can of Elven lore. She also began to learn to fight, but when she heard that her half-sister had been killed, she left her training to seek revenge. Once those responsible for her sister's death had been killed, but not entirely by her own hands, she retreated again to the forest, disappointed in herself and without a clear direction. Training, once again, with her uncle, she also studied more about the woes of Telflamm and wants to dedicate her efforts to freeing the city from the dangers that paralyze its people.
She has recently returned to Telflamm, returned to her job as cook at the Drunken Bishop and her small room there, returned to her post with the Scions, with new skills and a darker outlook. She hopes to stand by the side of the other Scions and prove that she is useful and worthy. She is ready to fight for a day when the people of Telflamm can walk their city in safety.
